Quotes depend on access, travel, timing, stairs, item handling, disposal and personnel needs.
MoveBase may modify, reschedule or decline work where conditions are unsafe or materially different.
1. Who we are
MoveBase provides premium delivery, placement, setup, furniture assembly, non-licensed installation support, commercial interiors support, selected small moves and practical removal services where the work is safe, lawful, insured and commercially viable.
2. What MoveBase is not
MoveBase is not a general removalist, budget courier, labour-hire service, handyman service, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, gas, structural or building service. Licensed or regulated trade work is excluded.
3. Pricing and quotes
- Call-Out Minimum from $120.
- Small Jobs from $180.
- Standard Jobs from $280.
- Half-Day Jobs from $450.
- Full-Day Jobs from $750.
- Additional Person from +$120.
- Rush / Same-Day Work from +$50.
Final quotes depend on scope, travel, access, stairs, parking, item size/weight, handling difficulty, disposal, urgency and whether additional personnel are required.
4. Booking and information
Quotes are based on information, photos and access details provided by the customer. If the job differs from what was described, MoveBase may revise the quote before proceeding or continuing.
5. Access, safety and right to refuse
MoveBase may refuse, pause, modify or reschedule work where access, parking, item weight, site conditions, weather, missing parts, undisclosed scope or safety concerns make the job unsuitable.
6. Travel, parking and disposal
Local travel may be included. Additional travel, tolls, paid parking, multi-stop work, regional travel, tip fees, recycling fees or special disposal requirements may be added or charged separately.
7. Cancellations and failed access
No charge applies before a booking is confirmed. Confirmed cancellations, late changes, failed access or a site not ready may incur charges under the cancellation policy, including up to the quoted/confirmed job price in serious late-cancellation or no-access situations.
8. Payment
Payment is due on completion unless otherwise agreed in writing. Deposits or prepayment may be required or preferred for larger jobs, commercial work, travel-heavy work, same-day bookings or selected special bookings. Prices are GST-inclusive unless stated otherwise.
9. ACL, liability and workmanship
Australian Consumer Law rights always apply. MoveBase is not responsible for pre-existing damage, manufacturer defects, unsuitable structures, missing parts, customer misuse, undisclosed hazards or work outside the agreed scope.
